- Hold a Start up meeting Face to Face.
- Fix the schedule for periodic Face to Face meetings.
- Establish a code of conduct and the Leader must enforce these.
- Chair conference calls carefully, ensuring that all have a good quality connection.

- Ensure all team members schedules of availability are known and visible.
- Ideally set up a “coffee machine” group for social chat, as personal emails might not wish to be shared. The Leader must moderate this group.
- Be aware as a team is someone is becoming withdrawn and Isolated.
- Monthly at first and then 3 monthly have a conference call or face to face meeting just to review effectiveness and obtain valuable feedback.
