The UK should be closer to Europe.
After the Second World War, Winston Churchill, as then was, set up the European Movement with the primary objective to avoid war occuring again on the continent of Europe. Then we had BREXIT with a narrow margin of 52% to 48%.
As a Remainer I am disappointed that the much of the media and the Labour Party avoid the BREXIT topic, yet many polls show that there is now a majority to get closer to Europe and even re-joining. Few regard the change as a success.
